Such a great course! The instructor was engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. She made the time go by quickly and I truly felt like I walked away with confidence. I will definitely be using Central Valley Medical to renew my BLS and pursue other certifications like ACLS and PALS!

Outstanding instructions regarding ACLS, not just memorization. Facilitates comprehensive understanding of the protocol that makes it easy to understand and put in to active use during real code situations. Highly recommend!
Response from the owner:Clear ACLS instruction matters, especially when the goal is real understanding instead of just test prep. Many students leave class feeling more confident, energized, and ready to put their skills to use.

★★★★★ – Central Valley Medical I’ve been coming to Central Valley Medical for years for my BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and I continue to come back every renewal cycle for a reason. If you’re a healthcare professional or entering healthcare and need certification or continuing education in the Central Valley, this is the place I recommend. They offer a wide range of courses, including HeartCode CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other healthcare education. They also offer TNCC when a group of six or more can be organized, LVN IV therapy courses, and a newer CNA program. For BLS, ACLS, and PALS, they offer both initial and renewal courses. One of my favorite options is the combination ACLS/PALS course with a BLS challenge. For healthcare professionals who have to maintain multiple certifications every couple of years, being able to handle them efficiently through one organization is extremely convenient. The owner, Kevin, is a fantastic instructor. He knows the material extremely well but, more importantly, knows how to teach it. Robert and Daniel are also excellent instructors, and the office staff has always been friendly and helpful. What really separates Central Valley Medical from other places I’ve taken healthcare courses is the learning environment. It is stress-free, low-pressure, and judgment-free. Topics like ACLS and PALS can be intimidating, particularly for someone taking them for the first time, but the instructors make the material approachable without sacrificing the quality of the education. Whether you’re brand new to healthcare or an experienced clinician renewing a certification you’ve held for years, you’re treated with respect. They have locations in both Madera and Fresno, and the instructors work between the two, so I’ve found the quality to be consistent regardless of which location I use. The facilities themselves are comfortable and temperature-controlled, parking is easy, and they have small snacks available during classes. You can also bring your own food or coffee, which is convenient when you’re going to be there for a longer course. The facility is also accessible for people with mobility needs. After going here for years, I really don’t have a reason to take my certification courses anywhere else. Kevin has built an excellent educational environment with knowledgeable instructors, helpful office staff, and a teaching style that makes required healthcare education considerably less stressful. For BLS, ACLS, PALS, or other healthcare education in the Fresno/Madera area, Central Valley Medical is the first place I recommend.
Response from the owner:Kevin will appreciate this, and it means a lot to know the learning environment has kept earning your trust over the years. Small class sizes help keep things calm, organized, and easy to learn in, which matters even more in courses that can feel intense the first time around. Central Valley Medical Education is also a small, family-owned business, and we value the continued support that helps us keep serving healthcare students and professionals across the Central Valley.

I had a great experience with my ACLS instructor! The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly. The class was well organized, engaging, and made the material easier to understand. I especially appreciated how the instructor provided helpful tips and took the time to answer questions. I feel much more confident with my ACLS skills after this class. Highly recommended!
Response from the owner:Clear instruction can make a big difference in a course like this, and we’re glad the class felt easy to follow from start to finish. Keeping sessions engaging matters to us, and many students leave feeling more confident, energized, and ready to put their new skills to use.

Kevin wants to know what you know about the heart, lungs and cardiovascular system. His goal is corect what people have been doing wrong and helps adjust their way of thinking. His way of teaching is at the graduate/phd level with real life questions. Kevin creates the atmospere for the whole class to learn, share and build off of really hard concepts in physiology.
Response from the owner:Franco, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We are thrilled that you found Kevin's class engaging and that the material challenged you to think differently about the heart, lungs, and cardiovascular system. Our goal is always to create an environment where complex concepts become accessible and where everyone can contribute to a deeper understanding. Your feedback inspires us to continue refining our teaching methods to ensure that each session is both rigorous and rewarding. We are glad you felt the atmosphere encouraged learning and collaboration—those are key elements we strive to cultivate in every class. Looking forward to seeing you in future sessions!
