Terms and Conditions
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Non-Refundable Deposit: The IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal (IVBW) class deposit is a non-refundable fee and may not be applied to course credit.
No Refunds: All fees are non-refundable. If a student cancels or fails to attend the session they registered for, the course fee is forfeited. However, course credit may be offered for all classes except IVBW.
American Heart Association Website Disclaimer:
CVME is an authorized training center for the American Heart Association (AHA), but we operate independently and are not affiliated with or managed by the AHA. CVME has no control over the functionality, availability, or technical issues of the AHA website. While we are willing to assist students who encounter issues with the AHA website, we cannot guarantee resolution, as these issues are outside of our control.
Students are strongly encouraged to complete all required AHA-related tasks, such as registration or accessing materials, well in advance of their scheduled class. If technical issues with the AHA website arise close to the class date and affect your ability to attend, CVME cannot be held responsible for these disruptions. Refunds, course credits, or additional reschedule options will not be provided in such cases.
Late Arrival Policy:
Punctuality: Please arrive promptly for your scheduled course. Instructors cannot revisit material for students who arrive late. If you arrive within the first 15 minutes of the course, you may still participate. However, if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the course start time, you will not be allowed to reschedule and will forfeit the course fee.
Rescheduling Request: Students must make any rescheduling requests by email or text at least 48 hours before the day of the class. The timestamp of the email or text will be used as the official time of record.
Rescheduling Policy:
Rescheduling Conditions: A student may reschedule their course only once, provided they give at least 48 hours’ written notice via email or text to (559) 765-0306. If the student fails to provide more than 48 hours’ notice, they will be charged a rescheduling fee equal to half the course fee.
Reschedule Insurance: Students may purchase reschedule insurance for $65, which allows unlimited reschedules. Without this insurance, any additional reschedule requests will be subject to the rescheduling fee.
Forfeiture of Fees: If a student fails to appear in class on the scheduled day or cancels their class with less than 48 hours’ notice, they will forfeit the entire course fee. There are no refunds.
Chargeback Fee:
Handling Disputes: A $50 chargeback fee will be applied if a student disputes a valid and authorized credit card charge. This fee covers the cost charged to Central Valley Medical by the credit card company for processing the dispute.
To avoid unnecessary disputes, we encourage students to contact us directly if they have any questions or concerns regarding a charge. Our team is committed to resolving any billing issues promptly and transparently. Failure to address concerns with Central Valley Medical before initiating a dispute may result in the immediate suspension of access to classes and services until the matter is resolved.
Students who file chargebacks on legitimate charges may be held responsible for any additional administrative costs beyond the chargeback fee, including legal fees if applicable. By enrolling in our services, students agree to these terms and acknowledge that disputing legitimate charges may impact their future access to our courses and programs.
