HeartCode® provides a blended-learning pathway. Choose the Complete option if you need both the online learning and hands-on skills portion. Choose Skills Only if you have already completed the required online PALS learning.

Should I choose PALS Initial or Renewal?

Choose the course type that matches your training requirement. If you are unsure which option your employer requires, verify with your employer before registering.

What is the difference between Instructor-Led PALS and HeartCode® PALS?

Instructor-Led PALS follows the classroom pathway. HeartCode® uses online learning followed by a required hands-on skills portion.

I already completed my PALS online learning. Which option should I choose?

Choose PALS Skills Session Only and then select either Madera or Fresno.

Can I take ACLS and PALS together?

Yes. CVME offers ACLS + PALS Initial and ACLS + PALS Renewal combination registration options in Madera and Fresno.
