Who Should Take This Course:
Healthcare professionals who need Basic Life Support (BLS) certification—either initial or renewal.
Course Format:
- Online learning: 3–4 hours of self-paced BLS coursework completed at home
- In-person skills testing: 30–40 minutes using a voice-assisted manikin (VAM) system at a designated training location
Total Cost: $80
Includes: Online course access, hands-on skills testing, and official certification card
Certification Issued:
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification card, valid for 2 years.

What You’ll Learn in the BLS HeartCode Central Valley Course
The BLS HeartCode Central Valley course gives healthcare providers the critical skills needed to act fast in real-life emergencies. To make learning clear and stress-free, each section of the training is broken down into easy-to-follow steps. You’ll practice every skill in a supportive, hands-on setting to build both confidence and speed.
During this course, you will learn how to:

Understand the adult and child Chains of Survival and apply them in high-stress situations

Perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants using correct techniques

Use an AED quickly, safely, and confidently—even under pressure

Work as a team during emergencies, including group resuscitation and coordinated care

Manage special scenarios, such as cardiac arrest in unusual settings

Assist someone who is choking, whether they are an adult, child, or baby

Complete your certification and earn your official AHA BLS eCard the same day
In addition, you’ll receive expert coaching from certified instructors who teach in hospitals and emergency rooms throughout the California Central Valley—including Fresno, Modesto, Bakersfield, and beyond.
